About Adelaide Waste and Recycling Centre
The Adelaide Waste and Recycling Centre (AWRC) is located at North Plympton, Adelaide, all of Adelaide and its surrounds.
We are an experienced waste management collector, processor, and recycler, and we are the preferred partner to many commercial enterprises, households, and local government. We can accept almost all types of commercial and residential waste material at our processing centre, which includes e-waste, cardboard and paper, green waste, hazardous waste, metal, paint, and vehicle tyres, large and small.
The AWRC also provides both commercial and domestic rubbish tip and recycling services, including provisioning the Adelaide dump, and we undertake environmentally friendly practices at all times, to ensure the best outcomes for our customers and stakeholders. As part of this the AWRC site is a member of the National Television and Computer Recycling Scheme, which means all households and small businesses can recycle their computers and televisions with us for free of charge at our site.

Solo Resource Recovery operates the site under a long-term contractual arrangement with the City of West Torrens.
Construction commenced on the existing City of West Torrens transfer station.
